I use Greek mountain tea, which is a very aromatic and relaxing herb that some specialists say helps fight Alzheimer's and other diseases. In fact, this tea is a staple in the diet of the centenarians on the island of Icaria, who drink it religiously after dinner to help with digestion.
3-4 teaspoons Sideritis tea, also known as Mountain Tea, Shepherd's Tea, or Ironwort
3 whole green cardamoms
1 whole star anise
1 cinnamon stick
2-3 slices fresh ginger
4 cups water
2-3 tablespoons wild honey
1) In a pot, add all of the ingredients except for the honey and bring to a boil for 5-7 minutes.
2) Remove from heat, let cool for an additional 5-7 minutes.
3) Strain the tea, sweeten to taste with honey, and serve.
